Miami Metal Deck offers both exposed fastener metal roofing systems and concealed fastener standing seam metal roofing systems. These are excellent for residential metal roofing, commercial metal roofing, and post-frame metal roofing applications.
Structural standing seams can be found in several different profiles. Each profile differs from the next in terms of its shape and the way that its seams fit together.
One of the more common profiles is the mechanical lock. It is designed so that the edges line up with one another and a mechanical seamer can then be used to bend and lock the panels together.
Another common profile is the snap lock. It has specifically shaped edges that are designed to ‘snap’ together without requiring the use of a mechanical seamer or any other equipment.
Aside from personal preference, it is important to take into account the type of roof, steepness, and other factors before selecting a profile.
