Architectural Standing Seam Metal Roofing
Architectural standing seams are a type of standing seam designed for use on slopes with a slope of 3 on 12 or more. They are similar in most ways to structural standing seams, but the seams are normally lower – measuring about ½ to 1 ½ inches.

We offer the three primary types of standing seam metal roof systems; screw flange, snap lock, and mechanically seamed system. Each of these standing seam metal roofing system designs uses a slightly different method to secure the panel to the metal roof.
In terms of aesthetics its fasteners are hidden, giving it a smooth and streamlined appearance. It can come in a variety of different styles, both in terms of its design and color.
To install architectural standing seam panels, a solid substrate is required so that it can be adequately supported. Additionally because this type of standing seam is hydrokinetic an underlayment should be installed as well to prevent moisture.
The profiles of architectural standing seams come in several different designs. However the most common either need to be mechanically seamed together, or have a ‘snap lock’ that can be used to join them.
